The Rapides Republican Parish Executive Committee (RRPEC) is, officially, the Republican Party of Rapides Parish, Louisiana. Although it is affiliated with the Republican Party of Louisiana, the RRPEC exists, in its own right, according to the Louisiana Revised Statutes (Title 18: Louisiana Election Code) and, therefore, retains a certain autonomy, particularly when applied to its mission and goal:

To organize, develop and grow the Republican Party in Rapides Parish and to recruit, endorse and elect qualified Republicans to public office.

The RRPEC membership consists of fourteen registered Republicans elected by registered Republican voters, in Rapides Parish, and are tasked to provide leadership and service to their constituents. Nine members of the committee represent districts corresponding to the nine Rapides Parish Police Jury districts and are elected by registered Republicans, who reside in those districts. The five at-large members of the committee are elected by registered Republicans, parish-wide.

Members of the RRPEC serve for four-year terms and are elected during years presidential elections are held.
